| CHAS data dictionary.doc | 'Part 1' of the CHAS data dictionary. This file provides descriptions for variables common to most CHAS tables. Some of these variables have been omitted from the Excel version of the CHAS files.

| Dimensions.doc | 'Part 2' of the CHAS data dictionary. This file explains the many criteria applied to households. These criteria are referred to as variables, or as the "dimensions" of the CHAS tables. The dimensions vary from table to table, so there is a note about which tables a particular dimension is used in. |
