The Fair Market Rents were placed on public display at the Federal Register on August 3, 2004 and will be published in the Federal Register on Friday, August 6, 2004. HUD is providing the preamble and the data that will be published on its Web Site to aid in the distribution of this material to the public.

The proposed FY 2005 FMRs are rebenchmarked using 2000 Census rent data and use the new CBSA geographic definitions determined by the Office of Management and Budget.
