Housing Market Shows Improvement Across All Regions
Vicki Needham writes in The Hill (8/7) "On The Money" blog, "Dozens of the nation's largest housing markets continue to show improvement, according to an index released on Monday. All told, 80 metro areas across 32 states and the District of Columbia were listed as improving housing markets on the National Association of Home Builders/First American Improving Markets Index (IMI) for August." The data focus on "metropolitan areas that have shown improvement from their respective troughs in housing permits, employment and house prices for at least six consecutive months."
