The number of respondents are based on a 90 percent response rate*, the estimated survey time is based on 9 pre-tests for each of the target groups.

Adults:
3,800 respondents
65 minute survey (includes Parent on Youth and Parent on Child survey components)

Youth (age 12 to 19):
3,000 respondents
30 minute survey
45 minute achievement test
60 minute travel time to and from test center

Children (age 8 to 11):
2,100 respondents
15 minute survey (includes time to measure height and weight)
45 minute achievement test

Children (age 5 to 7):
900 respondents
30 minute achievement test (includes time to measure height and weight)

Total Burden Hours: 13,446 reporting burden hours.

*The expected response rate is 85 percent while the target response rate is 90 percent.
