To extract the HECM worksheet files, please download the self-extracting file (hecm7.exe) into a temporary directory or diskette with no other files within or on it. Once the file is downloaded, double click on it (within file manager) to extract the necessary files. There are two new modifications in Version 7.0. The main one is that HECM.EXE and HECMOD.EXE are now Y2K compliant. The second change in Version 7.0 is the ability of the software to calculate with interest rates ranging from 3 to 18 (this has been modified from the interest rates ranging 5 to 15).
