Montana: Staying Ahead of the Curve

The State of Montana, before signing on as a NCA participant, had already created the Housing Coordinating Team (HCT) consisting of state and federal housing program representatives and nonprofit organizations to help coordinate, finance, regulate, and provide housing related services. In addition to streamlining funding programs and application processes, the HCT assists communities and organizations in identifying impediments to affordable housing developments and will be targeting regulatory barriers as one of its next projects.
