U.S. housing market, homeownership, rental housing
Abstract:
This annually issued report analyzes the status of the nation’s housing by reviewing updated trends in the housing market, demographic drivers, homeownership, rental housing, and housing challenges. The impacts of housing affordability, physical housing conditions, employment characteristics, household finances, race, responses to economic crisis, and energy and environmental concerns are considered in the formulation of a comprehensive picture of U.S. housing in 2009. The analysis also examines future implications of its findings in terms of the inherent risks and uncertainties for American families.
