Sonrisa is also notable for its green features, particularly its use of cross-laminated timber, which enables faster construction time and has a lower environmental impact than steel and concrete construction. HUD-Assisted Adults’ Perceptions of Cultural Competency Among Healthcare Providers
This article explores the healthcare experiences of HUD-assisted adults by examining their self-reported perceptions of their healthcare providers’ cultural competency and provision of patient-centered care. According to 2017 data, HUD-assisted adults report overall positive experiences, with nearly two-thirds of respondents saying that they have access to culturally competent healthcare providers. The article points to future research avenues to further advance HUD’s goal of supporting underserved communities and vulnerable populations through better-tailored programming.
